Ms. Cynthia's Playground
Cynthia Simmons faithfully served
Cross Roads Baptist Church for over 13 years as a
Children's Ministry teacher and a dedicated pastor's wife.
Her love for all people, especially children,
was evident in how she lived each day.
Her shortened life made an eternal impact
on many children though the years.
She lost her battle with liver disease on June 3, 2021
at age 38, after complications from
her second liver transplant.
She is a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Our playground is dedicated to her memory and for the enjoyment of many children and families for many years to come. May the memory of her godly character and
Christ-centered life stand as a testimony to
all who play and fellowship here.
Ms. Cynthia's Playground is open to both members and guests of Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Please help us by taking care of the playground, picking up trash,
and treating it as you would treat your own.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The playground is designed for children up to 12 years old.
